Customer support is given a high priority within the company and with this in mind we have focused heavily on the following areas:- |
| STORES- This department has a double function. Firstly to maintain support for the various workshop activities and secondly to provide spare parts direct to the customer. We hold a considerable stock of components and exchange reconditioned units ranging from fuel injection pumps and injectors to starter motors and alternators. This ensures an adequate supply to service both areas of business. Our stores are further enhanced by the facility to link directly to the computer systems of our main suppliers, enabling us to track availability and order status of ordered items. |
| TRAINING- Training is seen as an essential part of our operation in Colchester and is concentrated in two main areas - Craft training and Product familiarisation. We have an established apprenticeship programme which trains school leavers up to a minimum of City & Guilds standard over a period of four years. In addition trainees and experienced staff take advantage of manufacturers product courses and refresher courses to ensure that we are always at the forefront of current and future developments in our field. We also undertake to offer our customers product training and familiarisation courses as and when required. |
| QUALITY- Colchester Fuel Injection Limited is committed to maintaining a Quality Control System capable of satisfying the Quality Assurance of all aspects of a customers’ purchase request. For the past nine years the company has operated a Quality Management system which conforms to ISO 9002 - 1994 and is accredited by BVQI Ltd. General contract conditions are applied to all goods and services with specific requirements being developed by written instructions, stage inspections and maintenance of records and conformance of test equipment. The quality representative is available to discuss with any customer all aspects of a contract. In addition - Certificates of Conformance, reports and test records are available on request. |
